I have dry skin. It doesn't help that it is winter here and I live in a state which is extremely dry and cold. I also have extremely sensitive skin. I always have to be super careful with any products that I try, for fear of breaking out.
Thus when I started hearing rumblings of Skin MD Shielding Lotion in the blogging world, I was curious but very hesitant. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a try.
The day my bottle of Skin MD Shielding Lotion came in the mail, my face had about had it with winter. It was so dry, red, and flaky. I had tried everything on it; moisturizers, vaseline, natural ointments, and even lansinoh. None of it worked. I actually went into trying Skin MD Shielding Lotion pretty skeptical. Sure I had read the reviews, but I certainly didn't believe them. That is until within days of using the lotion, my face was clear! I wish I would have taken a picture of my face before and after. There is a HUGE difference! I will for sure be buying this lotion from now on.

I found it ineresting that Skin MD has a moisturizing factor at least 6 times greater than glycerin! Especially, since I use glycerin on a regular basis on my face.
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteI found out that I can buy Skin MD at a pharmacy which is located about 5 miles from me. I also learned that a shielding lotion works better than any conventional cream

One thing I liked which I learned is that it doesn't leave your skin greasy and nasty feeling. I hate when a lotion leaves your hands with that "gross" feeling. I would love to try this lotion and see if that is true. Thanks!!

ReplyDeleteI learned that it is promptly absorbed, without the slightest hint of any greasy or oily feeling or residue, transforming the outer layer of skin into a hydrating invisible shield.

ReplyDeleteI learned that my dry, itchy skin means that the protective elements of my skin have been stripped away- that's not good! I would love to try this Skin MD!
ReplyDeleteWith a moisturizing agent six times greater than glycerin which is found in most lotions and a non-greasy feel after it's absorbed, it could be the perfect lotion for my hands...which are always dry. - (octjuly)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was good to know that it actually forms a protective layer without clogging your pores... I think that usually my pores get all clogged.
